During our recent ski vacation, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that provided us with an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped foot into this cozy establishment, I was surrounded by warmth and hospitality. The owners, Krasimir and Marija, went above and beyond to ensure that every moment of our stay was perfect. Their friendly demeanor and genuine care made us feel like part of the family.

The owners are very nice and friendly, you feel like home.
Breakfast is too much (and too good), it can be dangerous :)

Very friendly hosts, clean room, relatively close to the Gondola, good food (first drinks are on the house and are home made). The area is quiet and the aditional services are ok (parking and wi-fi).
If you want to take an afternoon nap and by any chance your room is at a lower level then you might have a problem if anyone plays pool because it's a little noisy.

The room at Rahoff Hotel was cozy and comfortable, with a seating area that added a homely touch. I felt relaxed and at ease during my stay.
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small for my liking, but some guests might still appreciate its compactness.

When I booked this hotel it was on the basis that it was one of the cheapest and within close proximity to the ski lift (gondola), and so didn't really expect it to be great. After staying for four nights I can confidently say it is the most welcome I have ever felt staying at a hotel and it was perfect. It was exactly as described on the website with the facilities and distance to the lifts. It is a family run hotel who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attended to our every need, even as far as making me a temporary plaster for my knee when it was hurt snowboarding (it was back to normal within 2 days)! The food was excellent as was the homemade wine and Rakhia (grape brandy). Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable....
(There is nothing I didn't like so I will use this space to continue with what I did like!!!)....there was adequate space in the room and everything you would need (power points, fridge, lots of cupboards, hangers etc). As an example of how good the hotel is, my friend and I are 27 and 28 and planned on going into town to party two nights in a row but due to the good atmosphere, food and drink we didn't even make it out! In fact I liked the hotel so much I have kept the key to the room :-) (sorry Gary/Mary your key is in the post!)

The rooms were very comfortable, with a fire in our deluxe double. You must remember that this is modestly priced accommodation, but it was certainly excellent value for money. The family owners were extremely attentive and welcoming and the location is only 15 mins walk to the main gondola, or 5 mins from the restaurants.
Very little to complain about - the breakfasts are a little different and perhaps the hot food could have been a little warmer, but we as a family got sufficient to start our day off (the Feta was lovely as was the home made grape brandy, not for breakfast though!!)

We had a fantastic stay at Rahoff in Bansko. the family-run hotel truly cared about our experience. the friendly, relaxed atmosphere made us feel right at home. Krasimir and Maria, the owners, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even offered to take us to the slopes each morning to avoid the long gondola queues. the hotel's location was perfect, close to the slopes, bars, and restaurants. Cons: Liked everything 😊.

From the minute we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and friendship by the hosts. During our stay at Rahoff Hotel, we felt that we were the only guests, due to the attention and the way the staff was treating us. Every time there was somebody careful to our needs and desires and willing to please us and to make the best of our stay. The cook and the meals were always fantastic and served with manner, the bar was always available for us, the "Rachie" was present also, making our trip more fun and tipsy. All in all, during our stay at this small family hotel, we felt at home and we will gladly chose it again when planning the next trip to Bansko.
The only thing we didn't like is the fact that we had to leave. Driving home and being home aroused nostalgia in all of us. We miss Rahoff hotel and Bansko, for all the feedback was positive.

Stay: End of Dec'10 - Beg of Jan'11. Rahoff hotel is family hotel managed by very friendly, beautyfull & helpfull family. Hotel is located in quite and peacefull place, near to main Ski elevator and Bansko city center. Hotel cuisine is perfect. Also hotel owner could entertain you by his own tasty home wine. In the hotel are available sauna, billiards, WIFI. I'd love to stay it again. Best value for money.

Friendly service & great facilities for families
We had a great time over the weekend! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, always welcoming us with free coffee and freshly baked cookies. The hotel's location was great, with easy access to nearby skiing and snowboarding options. We especially loved the great facilities for families such as a pool, a billiard table, and ping pong tables. The restaurants in the area were fantastic too – we found plenty of delicious meals to enjoy.
The only negative point we experienced was the location, which was a bit removed from the town. It took us about 15 minutes or more to reach the resort centre.

What I liked most was the view over the mountains and the welcoming hotel staff. Thanks to them we could explore the area, they helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was great and since we were there during the summer we could enjoy it in the lovely garden they have
